through the landscapes, ancient sites and living culture of Greece —
designed for those who want to feel a place rather than visit it.
Each route is created personally for you or your group by Sotiris & Marieke —
based on who you are, what you carry, and what you are looking for.

What a Sacred Route Can Be
No two routes are the same.
Some move through ancient sites and sacred landscapes in silence and contemplation.
Others weave together mythology, local life, ceremony and conversation.
Some are a single day. Others unfold over several days.
What they share:
Powerful places chosen with intention — not from a guidebook, but from years of walking and listening. A pace that allows real encounter rather than efficient ticking-off of sites. Moments of stillness alongside moments of unexpected discovery. Local knowledge, story and presence. And space for whatever needs to emerge — which is usually the most interesting part.

Where Sacred Routes Take Place
Crete
The island holds layers upon layers —
Minoan & Ancient Hellenic civilization, Venetian history, Byzantine churches
built upon older sacred ground, wild gorges, ancient olive groves and village life
that has barely changed in centuries.
Crete is where we are based.
It is where we know almost every stone —
because the island keeps its secrets well,
and surprises us with something new every single day.
The Peloponnese
Mycenae, Epidaurus, Mystras, Olympia —
the Peloponnese carries memories of the oldest memories even before the moon
and with some of the most powerful ancient sites in all of Greece.
But beyond the famous names lie places that most people never find —
unorganized, unmarked, half-buried in nature.
Sotiris knows many of them. Has walked, felt, initiated in them.
A landscape of myth, tragedy, beauty and quiet transformation.
Athens
Beneath the surface of a modern city lie layers of sacred history —
ancient ruins and forgotten sites that were once deeply meaningful,
now buried under forgetfulness and wild nature.
We explore them together — and your unique connection to them.

Eleusina
Just beyond Athens lies the site of the ancient Eleusinian Mysteries —
one of the most significant initiatory rites of the ancient world.
The teachings and ceremonies that happened here over 3,500 years ago
inspired our own Eleusis Programme and its Katharsis Passage.
But even without that context —
even if you arrive simply as a curious traveller —
this land holds a powerful energy of confrontation and release.
We have walked here barefoot when no one was looking.

Marieke & Sotiris
He has spent years in the routes of creating
ceremonies, festivals, initiations and gatherings
rooted in the Hellenic wisdom.
She has built careers in care, in events, in holding spaces
where people feel met.
Both of them reached a turning point.
Both of them chose Crete.
He knows the roads, the ancient places,
the people who hold the keys to locked and forgotten spaces.
She finds things by instinct —
following her nose until what was hidden reveals itself.
Together they plan, create and hold —
with care, with curiosity and with a genuine love for
what this land keeps offering.
